FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT
On the 1st October 2006, Part 3 of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 came into force. This piece of legislation places a duty on employers and other persons who have control of premises to any extent, such as tenants, and contractors to carry out a Fire Safety Risk Assessment to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the safety of persons.
